Sight Word Practice: was, had, they, come, for

Choose ONE activity daily to practice sight words

Rainbow write each word 3 times, consonants in blue, vowels in red (like above)

Carve them into playdoh- Flatten out a chunk of play-doh and write the words with the back of a pen or a toothpick

TYPE THEM IN A TEAMS CHAT and send to MS. NOBLE or MRS. HULIEV

Be a detective! Search for them in books.

Write a sentence using as many sight words as you can, underline the sight words in the sentence.

"Hide the bear" Write words on cups, have a grown up place a small object underneath, and then YOU guess where it is by saying which sight word it is under.

INVISIBLE WORDS!
Use a white crayon to write your words, then color over the crayon with marker to make the word appear!

Swat the words- Write words on index cards or post-its- have a grown up call out a word, and swat it with a fly swatter or your hand as fast as your can!

Play with your food! Spell words with pretzels, cheerios, gummies etc, then have a snack!

Want to get messy? Spread shaving cream on a counter or shower wall, write word with fingers

Pyramid Words- Write words one letter at a time, adding one letter on each line.  Example:
L
Li
Lik
Like

USE YOUR DIY GEL BOARD TO WRITE EACH WORD!
